JayKit woke with a long satisfying yawn. "Its about time you woke up!." For some reason LeafKit was always active and up before Jaykit. "What are you so excited about?" "Today is the day we become apprentices remember?" "Oh yea, of course" As JayKit stretched each limb, LeafKit bolted out of the nursery to the middle of the clearing as Jaykit followed he felt the lush grass between his paws and felt the hot sun warm his pelt."Hey JayKit!"that was EagleKit's voice* "Are you ready to become an apprentice?" *looking less enthusiastic Jaykit replied "Not really i still think i am to small" "Well you are a bit smaller then the rest of the apprentices even LeafKit is bigger than you." "I know but ill be the best warrior in the forest you'll see." MoonKit came running over to JayKit and EagleKit after playing with a ball. "Hi guys, what are you doing?" "Nothing much j ust talking about JayKits apprentice ship." MoonKits stared in aw."Already!?" "Yup" Jaykit puffed his chest out to make himself look bigger."Congratulations JayKit" "thanks" "I would like to talk more but i really gotta go,I'm going to ask StoneClaw when it will happen" JayKit flicked his tail good bye and dashed to the warriors den."Hi StoneClaw." StoneClaw had a weary look in her eye. "Whats wrong?" JayKit asked with a sympathetic tone. "[color=olive]Oh hi JayKit sorry...........j-just thinking." StoneClaw turned around and walked out of the warriors den without saying another word. [coloi wonder whats that all about jaykit thought. As jaykit walked out of the nursery, a giant tom cat jumped on him from behind. "OW!" the cat raked his belly with its claws and with a powerful leap backwards, landed gracefully, then disappeared into the forest
